God is very real, and in the beginning God created everything. Like a loving parent preparing a nursery for their baby, God created this entire world for us. Every mountain, ocean, sunset, and star was prepared with us in mind. Then, last of all, He created something utterly unique in all creation — humanity. Made in His very image. We alone among all creation carry the image of God Himself. He created the world for us, and He created us for Himself. The Bible tells us that God would walk with Adam and Eve in the cool of the day. He created us for intimacy with Him — a closeness that nothing else in all creation could have. We were designed to know God, to walk with Him, to be with Him forever.
